CHILDREN’S ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
MIDDLEBROOK PIKE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The Children’s Enrichment Program at Middlebrook Pike UMC provides childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old during the school year on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
We strive to provide a safe and loving environment for children to learn and play and for parents to feel secure in their child’s wellbeing while they are apart.
Children will have daily themed classroom learning activities as well as lots of playtime in the classroom, outside on the playground, or in our full-size gym.
We believe play and learning social skills are very important for children at this age.
Monthly chapel time will bring stories of God’s love, while music and art activities will also add to their learning experience.
The MPUMC Children Enrichment Program follows the Knox County Schools calendar for closures and delays.

CHILDREN’S ENRICHMENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Sandra Valukas is a lifelong member here at Middlebrook Pike. She attended CEP as a child, was a nursery worker in her teens, and has volunteered with children's ministries in various capacities as an adult. In 2012, she began working as an infant room teacher at CEP and transitioned to director in 2022. Watching the children grow throughout the year and listening to them share their pure joy and laughter with each new thing they learn is why she loves working at CEP. Sandra, her husband Nate, and their three children are all very involved with the ministries of Middlebrook Pike UMC.
